I was wondering how T.I.'s legal team was gonna spin this whole thing. According to Sandra Rose, T.I. assumed all along that the bodyguard had a license to purchase the machine guns and silencers. Supposedly he never asked the bodyguard to purchase the weapons without registering them. The bodyguard, who is in protective custody, apparently didn't want the weapons registered in his name.

I really wanted to say "are they serious?" but after reading that, the shit might actually work. But can you legally purchase silencers?
