Scarface: The World Is Yours
Vivendi GamesSierra

As the back of the game packaging says, "Be The Original. Be Tony Montana". Sierra/Vivendi brings to life the legendary Tony Montana AKA Scarface and allows you to take grasp of the MIA coke world and re-build your once thriving empire.
The game begins where the classic Scarface film left off...only this time it's up to you to fight your way out of the mansion and run Tony to safety. After lying low for 3 months, Montana is back but without a dime to his name (much the same way he came to Miami in the film version). And thus your goal of the game. To re-build Tony Montana's empire and begin a thriving drug operation once again and regain the infamy of the Scarface name.
One of the first things you need to do is buy back your mansion from the undercovers. This is a relatively easy to task but damn, is your mansion ever in a shitty state. The look of the mansion in the game is incredible. You return after no one had been there since the shootout. Blood stains the walls; chaos is everywhere complete with broken statues and pieces of your house essentially everywhere.
The game's controls are for the most part very easy to follow and fall in line with many free roaming storyline based games (GTA, True Crime). The driving engine could have run a little smoother as it can be difficult to navigate tight spaces (especially when driving vans which are apparently prone to tipping over with the slightest wind gust). Shooting in the game is very easy and one of the coolest parts of "World Is Yours" is when shooting enemies, drug dealers, police, etc. words pop up on the screen telling you where you have shot someone (example - if you shoot someone and it says "leg" get ready to fire again). This allows for the player to know whether or not they need to keep plugging away at someone or not (plus makes for very cool game play).
The storyline is laid out similar to games like GTA, True Crime, etc. You'll have markers on the map you need to hit and conduct missions to progress game play. As always, you're free to wander/drive around and kill people (but the cops are a lot tougher in "Scarface: The World Is Yours" and will hand your ass to you if you're not careful). The game itself stays close to the appeal of the original film starring Al Pacino, from the look of the game to the taunt button that allows you to spit Tony Montana game at people after killing them ("I'm Tony Montana and you can't fuck with me").
Thankfully the video game adaptation of Scarface does the film justice by staying true to the feel of the movie, allowing the player to control all aspects of Tony Montana's life and incorporating many familiar spots (Babylon Club, Tony's mansion). "Scarface: The World Is Yours" is a must for fans of the movie and gamers of the GTA, True Crime breed.
