Mos Def's New Album Released Without Artwork; Only CD Case

Mos Def's new album, "Tru3 Magic", originally scheduled for release in early January 2007 has had its street date bumped up to Friday December 29th, 2006.
Due to the bump in street date (according to a source at his record label), the album will be shipped in a clear CD case with no artwork for the album.
"Tru3 Magic" features the controversial song "Katrina Clap" (over the beat to UTP's "Nolia Clap") a song about the government's response to Hurricane Katrina. Mos Def was arrested this past August for performing the song on a flatbed truck outside of the MTV Video Music Awards.
