UPDATE: Cassidy Accident

The driver of the truck that slammed into an SUV carrying Cassidy last week, causing an accident that left the Philly bred rapper in critical condition, has been issued a summons for making an improper turn.
According to The Jersey Journal, authorities revealed yesterday (October 11) that the ticket was issued to Javier Trujillo Gonzalez, 36, of Carson City, Mich., following the crash.
As HHNLive previously reported Cassidy (born Barry Reese) was in New Jersey en route to a Yonkers, NY studio session on Wednesday (October 5) when Gonzalez's truck swerved into oncoming traffic, striking the side of the SUV Cassidy was riding in.
Cassidy, who was sitting in the rear passenger side seat, suffered severe injuries, including a fractured skull and broken bones on the left side of his face.
"He has multiple fractures on his face," Simon Rosen, Cassidy's lawyer told The Journal. "He has a nasty scar from his ear to the corner of his mouth. He's on sedation to keep him from moving, and to keep him out of pain."
"It's scary looking, but he's a very strong young man," Rosen added. "He's a fighter. He'll come through this."
Cassidy still remains in grave condition but is expected to survive. The 24-year-old rapper had been preparing his return to the rap game with a third album via Full Surface/J Records.
