Jay-Z To Take Over Sirius Radio's "Hip-Hop Nation" Channel For A Week

In promotion of his new album, "American Gangster", Jay-Z will be taking over Sirius Satellite Radio's "Hip-Hop Nation" channel for an entire week. The channel will be renamed "Jay-Z Nation" for the rapper's week long run.
"Jay-Z Nation" will begin Monday November 5 and will feature Jay-Z playing songs from his new album along with much of the material in his extensive catalogue. Jay will also play music from other artists as well as provide intros to some of his songs and discuss the meanings and stories behind them.
“Jay-Z is one of the preeminent creative forces in the music industry. Over the last decade, he has truly changed the face of hip-hop and music culture,” said Sirius President, Scott Greenstein, via a statement. “We are excited to have him take over our airwaves and provide our listeners with this unique and exclusive experience."
