Police are currently investigating Diddy over an alleged assault that occurred early yesterday morning.

The New York Post reports that Diddy was at Kiosk SoHo at 3:30 a.m. when he got into an altercation with a man named Steven Acevedo over a woman. The two men exchanged words and parted ways.

The two men ran into each other again and started to argue. That's when reports say Diddy hit the man with a "one-two" punch hitting Acevedo in the face leaving the man bloodied.

When Acevedo attempted to strike the mogul, Diddy's bodyguard allegedly put his hand in his waist band as if he was going to draw a weapon.

Acevedo left Kiosk, went home and called the police to file a report. Police are said to be looking at surveillance video and have requested a statement from Diddy, who, at this time has not been arrested or charged.
