Country Artist Kenny Chesney Tells 50 Cent and Kanye To Bring It On

As the Hip-Hop world eagerly anticipates the Sept. 11th sales showdown between Kanye West and 50 Cent, another artist is in serious contention for taking the sales crown that week. Multi-platinum Country superstar Kenny Chesney is also releasing an album on Sept. 11th and he recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the three-way battle next month:

''It's funny how with every record that comes out, we're aware of the urban [competition], and none of those acts acknowledge that I exist,'' Chesney tells Entertainment Weekly via email. ''Until I have that No. 1 debut on the Top 200.''

Kenny is releasing his 11th studio album, "Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates", on September 11th. Chesney's last four studio efforts have opened atop Billboard's albums chart.

Biggest laugh will be if Kenny beats 50 or even worse, Spider Loc outsells he and Kanye.... Remember, country music is America's top-selling music genre.

New and upcoming act Flynnville Train is now blasting Chesney for ignoring the fact that they also have their new, self titled debut album coming out that same day. Tommy from Flynnville Train says, “It's funny how Kenny Chesney is aware of the urban competition but fails to acknowledge that we exist, until we have our debut in the lower half of the top 200. In fact, we would like to challenge Kenny. If you outsell our record on the first day we vow to open 5 shows for you. However, if we outsell you, then you would have to wash our bus. Come on Kenny, don't be chicken”.

I will buy the Kanye album and maybe even the Kenny album, but i wont download the 50 cent one; it's not worth my bandwidth. Can someone retire his monkey a$$ already.

the fact that kenny will sell more shows that whoever sells more doesn't mean nothing, cause gay ass country music will outsell everything cause there are far more rednecks in north america than anything or anyone else.
